Deanna Barbieri graduated summa cum laude from York University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History. She attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2013. During her time at the Faculty of Law Deanna was a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project, as well as a caseworker in the Family Law Division at Downtown Legal Services, the Faculty’s legal clinic. Deanna was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2014. Prior to joining Long Shariff & Associates, Deanna worked as an associate with a well-respected law firm in the Markham area.
Deanna works in the areas of family law and the preparation of wills and powers of attorney. She has experience in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody and access, child and spousal support, and property division. Deanna is dedicated to helping her clients achieve fair and effective resolutions to their legal disputes with a goal of obtaining the best possible outcome for each client.
Deanna is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the York Region Law Association. In her spare time, Deanna enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, interior design, and going to the theatre.
